Elsio Invoicing is a simple quoting and invoicing app for small businesses, built for your phone. Add a client, type the lines, and send a clean PDF from the job before you drive off. Your ABN, bank details and GST setting go on every document for you. A simpler alternative to Xero and the $40 a month apps for a business that needs to quote, invoice and get paid, not run a finance department. We built it first for an electrician mate, and he now uses it every day.

What it does
Quotes and invoices with your business details and your own numbering. Clients saved once and picked from a list. A GST switch, so it reads Tax Invoice if you are registered and plain Invoice if you are not. Your ABN, licence number, BSB and account number on every document. Payment terms you set once. Quotes marked accepted or declined, invoices marked paid, and anything past its due date flagged as overdue so you can see who owes you at a glance.
Built for the ute, not the office
It is made for a phone first. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Type the job, tap Save and send, and the PDF goes out by email or any app you already use. No login to remember on site, no software to install, and nothing to learn beyond what is on the screen.
What is coming
Logins, so the same invoices show on your phone, your laptop and your partner's phone. Card payments through a Pay now button on each invoice, with the money going straight to your account, alongside your bank details for people who prefer to transfer. Reminders when an invoice goes overdue, and an export for your accountant at tax time. Early access businesses get each of these first and help us decide what comes next.

Is it a real tax invoice?
Yes, if you are registered for GST. Switch GST on in settings and every invoice is headed Tax Invoice with the GST shown. If you are not registered, leave it off and it reads Invoice with no GST line.
Do I need to use Elsio for my website?
No. It works on its own. If you do have an Elsio website or care plan, invoicing will be included when it launches.
Where is my data kept?
Right now it is stored on your device, with a one tap backup file you can keep anywhere. Logins with a proper database, backed up daily, are what we are building next, so the same records show on every device.
Can my customers pay by card?
Not yet. Card payments with a Pay now button are coming, with the money going straight to your bank account. Until then your BSB and account number sit on every invoice.
