No. You can pay for the site once and take a full handover with no ongoing fees: hosting set up in your name, and your domain, files and logins handed to you. Or you can add care at $45 a month for 12 months, which covers hosting, security updates, backups, a weekly health check and up to three small edits a month.
Three if you choose care. Pay it all now, which is the site plus 12 months of care with one month of care free. Twelve equal monthly payments, with the site and care spread evenly and nothing else upfront. Or pay for the site now and care at $45 a month. If you choose a handover, you pay for the site once.
