Questions
How much does a website cost?
Most businesses are on a monthly plan: Essential at $149 a month, Growth at $229 a month and Ahead at $490 a month. Essential and Growth have no setup fee, and Ahead has a $250 setup. Each plan covers the design, the words, hosting and care, so there is no hourly billing and no surprise invoice. If you would rather own the site outright, it is from $450 for a home and contact page, $1,400 for up to five pages and $2,900 for up to ten, with the price in writing before anything starts.
How long does a website take to build?
A single page site can turn around in ten business days. A fully custom multi page build usually takes two to four weeks depending on how much content and revision is involved. You will get a timeline as part of the proposal, not a vague estimate.
Do I own the website once it is finished?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the site is built for you to keep, with or without an ongoing care plan. There's no lock in contract holding the site hostage.
Is the site built on WordPress or a template platform?
No. Every Elsio site is custom coded, not assembled from a WordPress theme or a page builder template. That means faster load times, no plugin bloat, and a design that looks like your business instead of a theme with your logo swapped in.
Can I update the website myself after launch?
Small text and content changes can be handled through a care plan, so you're not stuck waiting or paying per edit. If you'd rather have direct editing access, that's something we can talk through during the proposal stage.
Do you handle hosting and domain setup?
Yes, hosting and domain configuration are part of every build, not an extra step you have to figure out yourself. The site is live, connected, and taking enquiries from day one.
What happens after the site launches?
The build includes the initial launch, but most businesses want a plan for keeping things current. Monthly care plans cover hosting, monitoring, and content updates, so the site doesn't go stale six months in.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?
The core of the work is Sydney small businesses, with a focus on Bankstown, Panania, Padstow, East Hills, Revesby, Milperra, Hurstville, and Sutherland Shire. Projects further afield are considered case by case.
What industries do you build for?
Hospitality, trades and home services, health and wellness, and professional services are the most common, but the approach, understanding the business before designing anything, applies to any small business that needs a site built properly.
How do I get started?
Fill in the short form on the contact page. You will hear back with next steps and, usually, a proposal within a day or two.
