Crumble n Bloom makes choux pastries, tiramisu, custard puffs and gift boxes to order, mostly for birthdays, events and corporate orders. Three pages, one job: get an enquiry with the occasion and the date.

The brief
Crumble n Bloom Desserts is a small handmade dessert business taking orders for events, parties and corporate gifting, with everything made to order. There is no shopfront to walk past, so the site is the shopfront. It needed a menu with prices that a phone can read without downloading a PDF, a way to show the pastries, and an enquiry form that asks the questions the baker would otherwise ask by text: what is it for, what would you like, and when do you need it.
The approach
The brand is playful, so the headline uses wordplay and the type pairs Playfair Display with Poppins and a script accent. Cream and soft blue with a peach accent keep the pastry photos as the warmest thing on the page. The hero is the showpiece: a cake built from pieces in 3D as you scroll, running on three.js from a page that is under 5KB of HTML before the library loads. We kept the site to three pages because a dessert order does not need an about page or a blog; it needs the menu and the form. The gallery photos are the baker's own, and each one links to the menu so a photo is never a dead end.
The build
Home, Menu and Enquire pages. A scroll driven 3D hero on a canvas with a cue to scroll and two buttons, one to enquire and one to see the treats. A four photo gallery with each image linking through to the menu. A text menu with prices for cream puffs, tiramisu in three flavours and custard puff boxes from 25 to 80 puffs. An enquiry form with name, what it is for, what you would like, date needed by, email and phone, plus a hidden honeypot field to stop spam. Tap to call, email and Instagram links.
