Wren and Petal
Wren and Petal is a site we designed and built for a Sydney florist doing bouquets, arrangements, weddings and a weekly subscription, with delivery Australia wide. It is the only site here with a shopping cart.

The brief
A florist sells two ways: ready made bouquets that someone wants to order now, and weddings, sympathy flowers and corporate work that start with a conversation. The site needed to handle both without confusing either, show the range with filters so a visitor can find a bouquet or a subscription quickly, state the same day delivery cut off and opening hours, and carry an enquiry form that asks the occasion up front so the florist knows what kind of job it is before replying.
The approach
The headline is "Flowers that tell your story." with the key words in italics, set in Cormorant Garamond with Jost for body on a blush and deep rose brown palette. The shop section is a product grid with filters for bouquets, arrangements, wedding and subscription, add to cart buttons and a slide out cart with a total and a checkout button, so the ordering pattern is there from day one. Below the shop, the page moves to the work gallery, the occasions and the testimonials, then the enquiry form. The form asks first name, last name, email, phone, the occasion from a dropdown and a message, and confirms a reply within 24 hours.
The build
A single page with navigation for shop, gallery, occasions and contact and a cart counter. A product grid with six products from a Blush Garden Bouquet at $85 to a Bridal Bouquet from $250 and a weekly subscription at $70, with filters and add to cart. A slide out cart with a total and proceed to checkout. A gallery with a link to Instagram. An occasions section for weddings, birthdays, sympathy and corporate. Three testimonials. An enquiry form with an occasion dropdown and a confirmation message. Hours and the same day delivery cut off.
Desktop and phone. The phone view is where most visitors will meet it.
