In most industries accessibility is a nice thing to have. In yours it is expected of you, and the people reading your site are the reason it exists.
A participant with low vision uses your site with a screen reader. A parent reads it on a phone at 11pm after a diagnosis. A support coordinator opens it during a call with six tabs already open and needs to know in ten seconds whether you take new referrals in Liverpool. The site has to work for all three, and most provider sites work for none of them.

We write in plain language because that is what the Practice Standards ask for and because it is what people can read. Questions
The NDIS Practice Standards expect providers to give participants information in a form they can access and understand, and the Disability Discrimination Act applies to websites in Australia. On the Growth and Ahead plans we build to WCAG 2.2 AA, test every page with automated tools, retest after every change and give you a written report you can show an auditor. We do not certify compliance, because no automated tool can, and we say so.
Growth is $290 a month with no setup fee, and it is the plan we recommend for any provider or practice because it includes the accessibility testing and report. Ahead is $690 a month with a $500 setup and adds a new written page every month. Essential at $190 does not include the accessibility report, so we do not suggest it for health or NDIS work.
It depends on who you are registered with. AHPRA's advertising guidelines do not allow testimonials about clinical care for registered practitioners, which covers physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and podiatrists, so for those practices we leave review text off the site and check every word of the copy against the guidelines. Speech pathologists, dietitians, exercise physiologists and most NDIS support providers are not AHPRA registered and have their own codes, so reviews can usually be shown. We check which applies to you before we write a line.
