NDIS provider websites that participants can actually use.

Elsio designs, writes, hosts and looks after websites for NDIS providers across Sydney, registered and unregistered, from $290 a month with no setup fee. Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA with a written report, with a referral form a support coordinator can fill in during a call, plain language, and your service area by suburb.

Three people read a provider's website, and most sites work for none of them.

The first is a participant, or a parent, often on a phone, sometimes with a screen reader, trying to work out whether you are the right fit and whether you have room. The second is a support coordinator with a caseload and a phone against her ear, who needs to know in ten seconds whether you take referrals for community access in Liverpool. The third is the auditor, or the funder, or the Commission, who wants to see that you give participants information they can access and understand.

We build the site for all three. Plain language, tested accessibility with a written report, a referral form that is short and actually gets filled in, and the things a coordinator looks for, your registration groups, your suburbs, your intake process, on the first screen rather than three clicks down.

Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA

Contrast, keyboard, headings, labels, focus and motion checked on every page, retested after every change, with a written report.

A referral form coordinators use

Short, labelled, screen reader friendly. It arrives in your inbox with who is referring, what is needed and where.

Registration said plainly

Your registration groups if you have them, or a clear line that you are unregistered and work with self and plan managed participants.

Plain language and Easy Read

Short sentences and no jargon, with Easy Read pages available for the participants you support.

Answer the coordinator's three questions before she has to ask.

Do you provide this support, here?

Each support you offer gets its own plain description, and the suburbs you cover are written out, not hidden behind "Sydney and surrounds". Google reads the suburbs too, which is how you turn up for "community access Liverpool".

Do you have capacity?

A line near the top that says whether you are taking new participants, kept current under the plan. It saves everyone a phone call and it is the first thing a coordinator scans for.

How do I refer?

The referral form, one tap away on every page, with a phone number next to it for the coordinators who would rather call. What arrives in your inbox is ready for intake, not a name and a mystery.

The three things we fix on almost every provider site.

Stock photos of people who are not your participants

Everyone knows. Real photos of your team, your vehicles and your spaces, taken on a phone if that is what you have, do more than any library image. Where privacy means no faces, we design around it.

The NDIS explained instead of your service

Participants and coordinators know what the NDIS is. The site should spend its words on what you do, who you do it for and how to start, and leave the scheme explainer to the NDIA.

Accessibility that was never tested

Grey text on white, a form with no labels, a menu a keyboard cannot open. We test rather than assume, and the report says what was checked and what passed.

Growth is the plan for providers. Here is why.

Only Growth and Ahead include the accessibility testing and report. For a provider, that is not the extra, it is the point.

Essential

$190a month

No setup fee. 12 months, then month to month.

A three page site, hosted and secure. It does not include the accessibility report, so we do not suggest it for a provider.

We have not yet put a provider's site live under their name, and we would rather say so than show you something borrowed. Until we do, the proof is the same thing we offer every provider: we mock up your own homepage, with your name, your supports and your suburbs, tested for accessibility, and send you a picture of it for free. Our allied health work, including PACT Physio and Rehab, is on the work page.

Providers across Sydney's south west, the Georges River area and the Shire.

That is where a lot of NDIS delivery happens and where most of our health clients are. We work across Sydney and regional NSW.

Common questions from providers.

Who you support, what you provide and where, in plain language. Whether you are registered and for which registration groups, or a clear line that you are unregistered and work with self managed and plan managed participants. A referral or enquiry form. Your service area by suburb. Your feedback and complaints process, which the Practice Standards expect you to make easy to find. And it has to work for the people you support, which means accessibility is built in, not added later.

The NDIS Practice Standards expect you to give participants information they can access and understand, and the Disability Discrimination Act applies to websites in Australia. WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard everyone points to. On Growth and Ahead we build to it, test every page with automated tools, retest after every change, and give you a written report. We do not certify compliance, because no automated tool can, and we tell you that plainly.

Only the wording. An unregistered provider works with self managed and plan managed participants, and the site should say so clearly so agency managed participants are not left confused. We write it that way and make sure nothing on the page implies registration you do not hold.

That is the point of the referral form. It is short, works with a screen reader, asks for the participant's name, who is referring, what support is needed and where, and lands in your inbox in a form your intake person can act on. If you use a CRM or intake software, we can usually send it there too.

Growth is $290 a month with no setup fee and it is the plan we recommend, because it includes the accessibility testing and report. Ahead is $690 a month with a $500 setup and adds a new written page every month, which suits a provider adding services or suburbs. Essential at $190 does not include the accessibility report, so we do not suggest it for a provider.

Yes. Every word, including the Code of Conduct statement, the complaints process and the description of each support in language a participant or a family member can read. You check it, we change what you want changed, and it goes live in ten business days.

See your service's homepage before you sign anything.

Your service name and suburb is enough. We send back a picture of your homepage, with your supports and your suburbs written in plain language, and tested for accessibility before you see it.
