A restaurant's website is used at two moments: Thursday afternoon deciding where to go on Saturday, and Saturday at 6.40pm on the footpath. It has to work for both, on a phone.
Thursday wants the menu, the prices, the photos and a booking. Saturday wants the hours, the address and the phone number, in one screen, in three seconds. Most restaurant sites are built for neither. They open on a full screen photo, hide the menu in a PDF, and put the booking behind a widget that asks for an account.
We build it the other way round. The first screen carries the hours, the address, a Book button and a Menu button. The menu is text. The booking form takes four fields and lands in your inbox. What the site has to do
Google shows your hours before it shows your site, and the site has to agree with it. When they differ, someone walks to a closed door, and most people only do that once.
The menu is the reason they came to the site. As text it opens straight away and it turns up in searches for the dish. As a PDF it is a download nobody finishes on a footpath.
Nobody hears the phone during service. The form puts the booking in your inbox and you deal with it when you get a minute, with the diner's number if you need to call back.

A trattoria open since 1987 where dinner bookings are the whole business, so the booking form sits next to the headline, the history runs down the page as a timeline, and the menu reads in one centred column the way a menu should. Not a real business, but every part of it is buildable on a plan.

Most restaurants choose Growth at $290 a month because it includes the search setup, your Google reviews on the site, a monthly Google Business Profile update and an hour of edits for menu and hours changes. If you would rather pay once and own it, builds start at $450.
Not always. A booking form on the site puts the request in your inbox with the date, time and covers, and you confirm it in a minute between services. That suits a lot of restaurants and it costs nothing a month. If you need live availability, deposits or no show protection, we will say so plainly and connect the platform you choose. We do not push software you do not need.
Because a PDF menu is slow to open on a phone and a photo of one is unreadable, and Google cannot read either. Written as text, the menu opens straight away, people can search it, and your restaurant turns up when someone searches for the dish. We keep your PDF linked as well if you want it.
